Overview

Cyanix Intelligence ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency about how your data is handled. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have regarding your data.

Data We Collect

We may collect and store the following types of information:

• Chat History: Conversations you have with our AI services to provide context and continuity.
• Preferences & Settings: Interface preferences, language choices, and account configurations.
• Optional Memory Data: Information you explicitly choose to save for personalized interactions.
• Files You Upload or Generate: Documents, code, and other files you upload to a chat, or that Cyanix creates for you, are stored so you can access them later.
• Bug Reports: If you submit a bug report, it may include your email address, a description of the issue, error details, and browser/device information, so we can investigate and follow up.
• Push Notification Tokens: If you enable push notifications, we store a device subscription token to deliver them.
• Usage & Diagnostic Data: Telemetry, error logs, and performance metrics to improve system reliability.

How We Use Data

Your data is used solely to:

• Generate accurate and contextual AI responses
• Improve system performance, safety, and functionality
• Maintain consistency across your user experience
• Investigate bug reports and respond to support requests
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. This includes encrypted data transmission (TLS), encryption at rest, and secure infrastructure with row-level access controls (via Supabase). We regularly audit our systems and restrict data access to authorized personnel only.

Memory Feature

Cyanix Intelligence offers an optional cross-chat memory system. If you enable memory:

• Information you choose to save (preferences, context, notes) is stored in your personal memory store in Supabase.
• Memory is used solely to personalise your own sessions and is never shared with other users.
• You can view, edit, or permanently delete any memory item from Settings at any time.
• Disabling memory stops new items from being saved and clears all existing memory immediately.
• Deleted memory is removed from active storage promptly and purged from backups within 30 days.

Memory is entirely opt-in. You can use Cyanix Intelligence with memory fully disabled.

Voice Data

When you use voice input, audio is processed as follows:

• Audio is transmitted to Groq's Whisper speech-to-text service over an encrypted connection for transcription.
• Raw audio is not stored by Cyanix Intelligence after transcription is complete.
• The resulting text transcript may be saved as part of your chat history according to your privacy settings.
• Text-to-speech (TTS) output is generated via Groq's standard voice, or, if you select the premium tier in Settings, via Google Cloud Text-to-Speech. Text sent for speech synthesis is not retained after audio is generated.

AI Model Training

We want to be clear about how your content relates to AI training:

• Cyanix Intelligence does not use your prompts, conversations, or uploaded content to train third-party foundation models on your behalf.
• We may use aggregated, anonymised usage patterns (not chat content) to improve routing, latency, and feature decisions.
• Third-party AI providers (Groq, OpenRouter) have their own data use policies. We recommend reviewing those policies for details on how inference providers handle request data.

Community Content

Cyanix Intelligence includes an optional community space for sharing posts, code snippets, and comments. Content you publish there — including your display name — is public and visible to other users and visitors. Please don't include private or sensitive information in community posts or comments. You can delete your own posts and comments at any time from the community area.

Third-Party Subprocessors

We rely on the following providers to deliver the service:

• Supabase — database, authentication, file storage, and real-time infrastructure (stores account data, chat history, memory, uploaded files)
• Vercel — application hosting and edge functions (no persistent personal data)
• Groq — AI language model inference and Whisper speech-to-text (processes prompts and voice)
• OpenRouter — AI model routing and fallback inference (processes prompts)
• Google Cloud — premium text-to-speech synthesis (processes text you choose to have read aloud)
• Brave Search / SerpApi — web search grounding, with SerpApi used as a fallback (processes search queries)
• jsDelivr / cdnjs (Cloudflare) / Fontshare / Google Fonts — content delivery for scripts, code-execution runtimes and fonts; your browser requests these directly, so they may see your IP address and user agent

All subprocessors are contractually required to handle your data securely and in compliance with applicable privacy laws. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing.

Cookies

We use essential and performance cookies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the service is used. You can manage or disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings or our cookie consent banner.

Your Rights

You have full control over your data. You may:

• Request a copy of your stored data
• Request permanent deletion of your account and associated data
• Disable or clear memory features at any time
• Opt out of non-essential cookies and analytics

Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as necessary. Specific retention periods:

• Chat history: Retained while your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
• Memory: Retained until you delete it or delete your account. Purged from backups within 30 days of deletion.
• Uploaded and generated files: Retained while your account is active, and deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
• Voice audio: Not retained — raw audio is discarded immediately after transcription.
• Telemetry and error logs: Retained for up to 90 days in aggregated/anonymised form.
• Deleted accounts: Account data is queued for deletion immediately and purged within 30 days.

You may request earlier deletion at any time by contacting us.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such data, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
